Just thought you would want to see this picture.
I got in the pool tonight to do my physical therapy, Tiki was walking around the deck with my husband, and decided to come in and join me in the pool!
He climbed right onto the mat. I pushed him around a few times and he loved it.
I think I’m going to have a swimmer on my hands.
We love our kitty so much!

Hi Sheila,
Here are a few pictures of Higgins. Not as clear as the ones you take. The portrait was taken with my cell phone. That one surprised me.
He is doing great…eat, play, sleep… repeat as needed. He is finding a lot of new toys to play with and that is keeping him very busy. We just love him and he is fitting right in with his new friends.
Thank you for spending so much time with me on pick up day. All of your information has been very helpful.
Sincerely,
Loretta-Rose

Dear Sheila,
We just love our gorgeous and wonderfully sweet little boy! He is doing great! He is healthy, playful, and he loves his Oma’s Pride rabit – he just devours it! We are so blessed to have him in our lives! Thank you so much!!

Dear Sheila,
Just wanted to send you a few pics of our favorite little boy "Nusa" in his first few weeks in his new home in Houston. We absolutely LOVE him and his Personalty!
He adores us and all his fun playtime and his quiet cuddle time. He loves to be wherever we are and doing what we are doing. He loves to play peek-a-boo, hide-n-seek, fetch, and is VERY curious of running water. He also loves to play in the kitchen sink ( he is crazy about the sink drain) and wants to either be high up on things so he can jump, or be under the bed playing or under the blankets sleeping! Sheila…. he is truly spoiled if you can’t tell!
Nusa
We can’t get enough of him and when I am out running errands, I can’t wait to get home to him. He is eating well, (Oma’s pride) and sleeping and playing even better. He had his first vet visit and he was wonderful. All the staff kept coming in to see him, they just fell in love with him.
We are amazed every day at how smart he is and we find ourselves constantly laughing and smiling at his silly ways. We are in love with him and just wanted to thank you for him. We’ll send more updates and photos as the month progress.
Kindest regard,
Joelle and Mitch
Hi, we just wanted to tell you, after all this time, how much joy Angini brings to our lives. Angini means "Spirit" in the Pueblo Indian language and he is quite that. Pictures are attached as files and follow below.
He has turned out to be every bit the lover that you raised him to be. Stunningly beautiful, he greets visitors, follows us throughout the house and cuddles up in the most amazing and adorable ways. A water lover, he has learned how to turn on faucets. Unfortunately, turning them off is not in his repertoire. He loves to takes showers, in fact leading us to the bathroom whenever he thinks it is time.
Thanks for raising such a nice son. Keep up your wonderful breeding business and continue to bring happiness to other families.

Saja and Webster
Dear Sheila,
Finally, I’m getting these pictures off to you.
I can’t thank you enough for our two Bengals, Saja & Webster. They have brought so much joy and laughter into our home. Beside the fact that they are both beautiful, they are full of love and personality.
Webster, our male is large like Perry while Saja is petite like Electra. Webster loves water. Saja likes to play in it but has her limitations. Both cats will chase the water stream from the hose, take baths, jump into the shower and if you turn on the kitchen sink, they are in!
Webster loves to stand up and hold our legs hugging us. Saja is still very affectionate. She sleeps cuddled up to my fact most nights. They are a little like having two raccoons in the house at times.
They haven’t broken anything of value yet and we were wondering about Christmas. I can see presents being opened ahead of time. And I’m sure the tree will be seen as a special present just for them (not to mentions the decorations). I put a plastic pumpkin in the window and they took it right down. A new toy for them, of course.
They are lively and spirited for sure. I waited so many years to be ready for them. They are everything I hoped for and more. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
Let me know what you think so I can fix them asap if need be.
Thanks again,
Lisa Portocarrero

Benny
Dear Sheila,
I saw Benny’s pictures on your website. I look at your site from time to time. Benny is a wonderful and beautiful cat. We love him very much. He likes to play fetch, hide and seek/peekaboo with us and plays normal cat play with Jamoon, his playmate. They love each other. I have some new pictures of him, he has not changed since I last sent his pictures to you. Luke and I are like proud parents, I take many pictures of our cats.
Thanks for letting us have him.
Sincerely, Paula Tunprawat
I am having so much fun taking pictures of this little beauty. She loves to pose and her coat is getting more and more gorgeous everyday. Hard to see in the photo but she is getting glitter. Just wondering what the names of her brothers and sisters are.I thought I could make a little family tree…I have started one for Chaya and would love to include her sibling.

Diego
Sheila,
I just spoke to you on the phone and promised some pictures of Diego. Here they are. He looks so much better in real life, I’m telling you. He is such a sweetheart. Cuddles and plays with us, even talks to us. I am serious, he answers when you talk to him. Right now he "helps" writing this letter by putting his paw on my pen. He is into everything we do. We adore him!!
Thank you so much…

Della (Delta X Star) loves the yard.
Rea’s litter sister.
Sheila,
Here are a few recent photos of Della. She is one year old now and a very delightful cat. We enjoy her very much. She likes to be with you wherever you are, but is still very independent. She is very gentle and likes to be around people. She and Emily get together often and enjoy each others company. We love her a lot.
Thanks,
Sue & Mike Bentley
Dear John & Sheila,
We just wanted to say hello and let you know that pink girl # 1 (Cloud x Ivana) is doing great! Actually, her name is Summermist High Definition (still pending), but we just call her Heidi. She just gets more and more beautiful every day! We’ve included some pictures so you can see how she’s grown and how amazing she looks. And what a sweety! She cuddles with us all night. She is our BABY! We still cannot thank you guys enough for her.

Jade (top 2 photos)
Jade & Rangoon (bottom)
Dear Sheila,
A million thank yous for my two boys, Jade and Rangoon Sunrise aka "Sunny". They are absolutely stunning and the best cats I have ever owned. They each have very good but distinct personalities; the one thing they definitely have in common is that they are both "love bugs". They follow me everywhere around the house and are quite the little helpers when it comes to sorting laundry, making beds, sweeping floors (their favorite)… they have to be involved in everything that goes on and let you know very loudly how displeased they are when they are excluded.
I have always been interested in the Bengal breed with their exotic looks. So, after my old cat passed away last June, I started doing some research on Bengals and hit the books and the internet. One day in September I found the Summermist Bengals site and was mesmerized by the sheer beauty of all the cats. I knew I had found the right place and I just had to talk to you. So, I called and you were so nice, Jazzy had a litter of kittens and you invited me to come see them. That’s when I met Jade (son of Jazzy and Delta) and it was love at first sight; I had found my Bengal. The month before I brought him home was so long… did a lot of kitty furniture shopping though.
When Jade came home he was the sweetest little thing I had ever seen and it took about two days for him and I to become inseparable, he sleeps on my pillow just over my head and wakes me up with a big, wet kiss when he is hungry and I oversleep in the morning.
After a few weeks I thought it would be a good idea to get Jade a playmate and I called you again. I was so lucky that you had one of Rosie’s kittens available and let me have him. Rosie is Jade’s sister, so this little guy whom I named Rangoon is his nephew and they are only a month apart. Rangoon is also stunning taking after his mom Rosie and his dad Inkosi a grand champion, and he has the best personality; he is a little purr machine who only has two speeds, loud and louder.
On the day I brought Rangoon home there was a bit of hissing and growling from Jade. By the second day they were meowing and playing footsies under the door of the bedroom where I had confined Rangoon. By the third day they were yowling their heads off; Rangoon wanted out, Jade wanted in and they were completely unhappy to have that door in the middle. So against everybody’s advice, including yours to wait a week to to ten days, I opened the door on the fourth day and they became instant friends and playmates. Now they are always together, I wake up in the morning and find them grooming each other in the middle of my bed. They are as beautiful, smart and sweet cats as can be and I never dreamed I would own two such purring treasures.
Sheila there is no words to thank you enough except to tell you that I will always love and take the best possible care of my two boys. Please come and visit them anytime you are in the neighborhood and I will keep sending pictures. Please give a big scratch to Jazzy, Rosie, Delta and the rest of the crew for us.
Sincerely, Frederique, Jade and Rangoon
Hi Sheila,
Wishing you a Merry Christmas! We are really enjoying Della. She is quite a character. She get to play often with Emily. We love them both!

Hi Sheila,
We haven’t had an opportunity to talk to you for awhile. It really sounds like you are super busy with winning awards! Congratulations on Rosie and Ducati. Rosie had such a cute personality when we met her, and Ducati is just beautiful. Anyway, I wanted to drop you a line and tell you about our cat shaped human.
So we named our sassy Bengal Gus, after Gustav Klimt….. a famous artist known for his decorative patterns. Well obviously that is too long so we call him Gus, or any variation you can make on the name Gus… Gussie, Gussie Poodle, Gus Gus, Gustovson, Gussum, Gustapo (when he was bad), Gussamillon, Guthrow, Goose…. and turd, which he also answers too (hehe). He spends most of his time finding things to get into or tormenting Hootie. I have gotten him a very elaborate cat post which he enjoys very much, a laser pointer and lots of brightly colored feathered toys which he promptly destroys. He is by far the funniest cat we have EVER owned and we have had a lot of kitties.
He is just so sassy and and has SUCH an attitude that he makes it impossible not to love him. He is so outgoing and loves people. I thought at first that we might get a shy kitty cause he was so independent, well he is definitely independent but not shy. He goes everywhere with us, we have him harnessed trained and he is severely disgruntled if he is left behind and lets us know it. So he goes with us almost everywhere, perched jauntily on top of our heads or shoulders. Our housekeeper is in mortal terror of him because he likes to hang out atop people heads….. and has no qualms about doing so with perfect strangers. It’s hilarious and keeps us amused to no end. He is just turning in to the most beautiful cat ever and is SUCH a love. He is very affectionate and loving, he is always in your face head butting or purring and in your lap. He sleeps under the covers with you and gets rather irate if you move and wake him up. I wake up in the dead of night with a yowling cat curled next to me laughing. He is just SO funny. His antics just don’t end.
We ended up getting a little Siamese kitten shortly after Gus. She needed a home and a friend brought her over knowing we couldn’t say no. Man, was that ever the best move. Gus and Squid (weird name I know) LOVE each other, you’d think they were soul mates. They are the most inseparable pair I have ever seen, they are great playmates for one another. I will send you a few pictures so you can see how pretty he is getting . We both love him to death. It’s interesting how one Bengal has made our life so much more fun, he is perfect for us. You sure know how to pick them.
My Mom and I are going to have to have shared custody when I move out of the house… haha, and we can’t separate Gus and Squid, they are too attached to one another. We just wanted to say how much we absolutely ADORE our little terror. It’s like having a mischievous little kid in the house and it is just so much fun. We find ourselves doing the silliest thing to see what Gus will do. We made a tent for him out of a bed sheet and some furniture the other other day and that provided hours of laughter. He used it as a hammock and defended his new fortress by meowing REALLY loud if anyone came near it. We got him FISH and SQUIRREL TV which is just a VHS tape you have on that shows fish and rodents all day to torture your kitty while you are at work. It’s so fun. Gus is the most perfect cat ever and we are SO appreciative that you let us have him. It’s hard to imagine what it was like pre-Gus. Thank you so much for our little Gussie!

Hello To Everyone at Summermist Bengals,
It has been a month since you have seen Joy. She is doing wonderful and we love her to death. She goes everywhere with me and is very calm and tame. Thank you so much for allowing us to have her. She really is the "Joy" of our lives. I will continue to send pictures as she grows.

Dear Summermist Bengal,
I have enclosed recent pictures of Harpo. He is doing very, very good, eats well and is still growing. His coat is getting sparkling golden color and looks gorgeous. He has a real nice personality and very sweet as you said. Yes, he is like a comedian, I understand why you call him Harpo. We love him very much. He is an extremely beautiful and gorgeous Bengal and he was more than our expectations. We are very happy and thank you for letting us have such a super loving boy. Our life is happy with him. Hope everything is good for you and take care.
Sincerely,
Hironori & Nachi Yoshikawa
Hi Sheila,
We are so in awe with our little boy. He is everything we were looking for and more. You picked out our purrfect kitten for our family. What a joy he is and stunning to look at. I have had eight cats in my life. This kitten has the best personality I have ever seen. Sheila, thank you for creating and selecting our dream kitten. Even our dog loves him.

Dear Sheila,
I am so pleased with my little boy, I wanted to share my testimonial with you, which you may feel free to add to your website:
I have only introduced my little boy into our home 4 days ago, and more thrilled with him than I could have imagined. I must admit I was a little unsure of how everything would work out when Sheila told me that her policy was to recommend kittens to her customers based on a list of his/her desired attributes, but I trusted her judgment, and my little kitten is EXACTLY what I have dreamed of: outstanding color, flawless rosettes, and a personality to die for! Not to mention, I have NEVER seen such an exotic head and eyes on a cat OR Bengal in my ENTIRE life! Sheila has a true talent for breeding animals as demonstrated by her many award-winning years of experience. With a true instinct for animals and the Bengal breed, she has perfected the art of matching up the right home, while selecting only the best cats into her breeding program. Since my previous cat passed away in "2000, I have put endless hours into the pursuit of the perfect Bengal. I stopped my search entirely when I came to Sheila’s website and spent some time speaking with her on the phone. These cats are truly unique and special: from their exquisite coat patterns to their cuddly, extremely loving personalities. Look no further, Bengals do not get much better than this, at least at the moment.

Dearest Sheila,
Where do I start? I can’t thank you enough for this bundle of joy. He is extraordinary. I have looked for several years to find a breeder that I can work with and one who has the most exotic looking bengals. When I came to Sheila’s sight I was mesmerized. I must have gone back to Sheila’s site a dozen times. I had to have one of her kittens no matter what.
Sheila was so patient with me. All of my questions to her I was sure she would hang up on me. But she was so gracious and answered them all. Sheila picked out a kitten for me that I could only have dream of. His color is so golden with glitter that shines like it has been polished on. His face will melt your heart. His Hugh eyes are brilliantly green. His gentle nature never ends. He is a love machine. His intelligence is unbelievable. He is the perfect addition to your family.
Sheila has such intuitive talent to pick out the right kitten for your family. Her devotion and dedication to her animals are like no other I have seen. In the near future I hope Sheila will perform her magic for us once again, as we would like to have a sister for our special boy some day soon. From our happy family,
Gayle and Larry Moore
